King Chulalongkom Memorial Hospital

This morning our group had the privilege of visiting Chulalongkom University Faculty of Pharmacy where we got a run down of pharmacy practice in Thailand and more specifically how community pharmacy operates. After speaking with us, the pharmacist took us for a tour of the community pharmacy that is located on campus and explained how community differs from the states. In the afternoon our group visited the King Chulalongkom Memorial Hospital where we were given the opportunity to go onto the patient floor and talk with the pharmacist on duty as well as two of his students. The pharmacist was very kind and enthusiastic about going through the different patient cases they currently had on that floor. He enjoyed asking us questions as much as we enjoyed asking him questions. It was an overall great interaction with the pharmacist and his students as well as a wonderful learning opportunity!
