Mahidol University

This morning we were lucky enough to visit Mahidol University where we received a lecture from “Kit” the Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy.  Kit gave us a lecture on the Thailand Healthcare and Pharmacy System.  It was an extremely interesting lecture which gave us insight on how the Thai healthcare system works and provided us with ample opportunity to compare and contrast their system with our own healthcare system.  Discussing the strengths and faults of each respective healthcare system allowed me to view the concept of healthcare from a completely different perspective and it was extremely rewarding!
