Some afternoon shopping

Today we all visited the umbrella factory (a must see) in Chiang Mai. We were able to see umbrellas in each stage of them being made and got to do some shopping. Each umbrella and fan were hand painted by the workers and were so unique and beautiful. After the umbrella factory we visited the silk factory where we also got to see the silk being made and got a background on how they get the silk. They even compared fake silk versus real silk for us to see. Today was a great day to get gifts for our family and friends!
