Lanna Herbal Massage Ball


Today we went to Chiang Mai University’s faculty of pharmacy building. Among other things, we had the chance to make “Lanna herbal massage balls” which have various traditional Thai medicines in them. They are used as complimentary pain relief during Thai massages. To use them, they should be heated up for 1-2 minutes in the microwave then compressed on the muscles of interest for added pain relief. We even get to bring them home to try out for ourselves!
