This afternoon we had some extra time and were able to visit the famous Train Market in Bangkok. It is a very unique market as it is set up on the train tracks. Little shops and stands are set up along the length of the train tracks that we were able to walk through. Then, when the train was about to come at 2:30 we watched all of the stands back away from the tracks and fold up some of their tents to allow the train to pass. As soon as it is done passing through, the stands move their goods back on the tracks and people resume walking through the market. It was a very unique experience we were all happy to see (even in a little rain).
